Post Pandemic Office Time

  The pandemic took its toll on our office. Once a small but comfortable working space with 15 employees in on a daily basis, it dropped to a raucous one or two. The two consisted of my coworker Tony and myself. Tony and I are about the same height and he’s about 10 years younger than I am. He’s a dirty blond, cute as a button, doesn’t look like he’s sporting much in the way of body hair, at least nothing poking out of his open neck shirts. We’ve worked together almost 10 years now. When I started, he’d been there a year. A hot day on the balcony

  Jason was sitting on his balcony; the sun was shining, and he was naked.   He was surrounded by pots overflowing with plants, the chairs were arranged in a comfortable conversational grouping, but Jason was alone. He stood and walked to the front of the balcony and leaned on the wall. His condo was on a side street, removed from busy thoroughfares, it was quiet, almost bucolic. You could smell the pine trees, the cut grass below him, children played in the park across from him and it just seemed peaceful.   He was so bored.
