This was a contest entry for a Halloween erotica contest. A pinch of what appeared to be dust floated down through the air and landed in a sprinkle on the top of the bubbling liquid. There was a flash, and a twist of smoke rose off the surface, and the woman spoke. “Dust of an ancestors bones added,” she half sang, and picked up another small bottle, unstoppered it, took another pinch this time green flakes and dropped them on top of the liquid. “Flakes of sage to season and bring wisdom,” she sang as she let the flakes fall. There was a flash then the potion settled down to a gentle simmer. She turned and nearly tripped over Rex. He and Magus lay curled just behind her. She’d been so caught up in her casting that she hadn’t even noticed them, despite their size, as they came up behind her and settled nap. Both were large animals, Rex grey and white, while Magus was jet black. They both sported very intelligent crystal blue eyes that stared into your soul. ...
